Chinavia hilaris

Stink bug
Chinavia hilaris – green stink bug on a milkweed stalk. South Boulder Creek, July, 2012. I thought of this critter because of Carol O'Meara's article about the brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, which must be an nth cousin. Presumably, this is a nymph of this or some other stink bug.
