Forsythia sp. By Matt Young April 3, 2017 11:00 MST Forsythia sp., Boulder, Colorado, April 1, 2017. The bush (the best in the neighborhood!) bloomed around March 15 or before, which seems early. I just learned that it is in the olive family.
